Pelvic health physical therapy focuses on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues of the pelvic floor, which support your bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs. When these systems are off, it can lead to pain, incontinence, and other challenges.

Our clinicians combine manual therapy, guided exercises, and education to:

Sessions may include both external and internal techniques, always delivered with consent and care.

Common Questions

Who is pelvic health therapy for?

Pelvic health therapy is for people of all genders experiencing issues related to bladder, bowel, or sexual function—as well as pain in the pelvic, hip, or low back region. We support individuals navigating pregnancy (in the first, second, & third trimester), postpartum recovery, post-surgical rehab, and conditions like endometriosis, erectile dysfunction, incontinence, and more. You don’t need to be in pain to benefit—many clients come to build strength, restore balance, or prevent future issues.

Do I have to get an internal exam?

No. Internal work is never required and only performed with your full consent. Your clinician will discuss different options in what’s appropriate for your care and always prioritize your comfort. Many sessions are fully external and still highly effective.

What should I wear or bring to my session?

Wear something you feel comfortable moving in—like activewear or clothing you’d wear to a workout. You don’t need to bring anything specific. After booking, we’ll send an intake form to help your clinician prepare for your visit.

Can I come in if I’m on my period?

Yes. Menstruation doesn’t prevent you from benefiting from pelvic health therapy. Your session can be adapted to your comfort, and many clients find it helps ease pelvic and lower back discomfort before, during, or after their cycle.

How many sessions will I need?

Your plan of care is catered to your goals and what we find in your assessment. At the end of your first visit, your therapist will walk you through their findings and create a personalized plan. Some people come for a few targeted sessions; others benefit from longer-term care. Either way, you’ll always know what to expect.
