Kenichi Karasawa
Kenichi Karasawa is a Registered Massage Therapist at Park Royal in Vancouver.
Ken graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, chronic pain, spinal cord injuries, and injuries affecting the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Growing up, Ken trained competitively in baseball and experienced firsthand the impact of sports injuries. Through his own recovery, he discovered how effective massage therapy can be in relieving pain and restoring movement. This led him to become an RMT so he could help others stay active and return to the activities they love.
Ken performs thorough assessments to create personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s goals. His approach combines techniques such as General Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Release, Trigger Point Release, Myofascial Release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation, and Active Stretching and Strengthening.
Outside the clinic, Ken enjoys biking, hiking, running, and training in the gym. He also plays volleyball and baseball recreationally and is fluent in Japanese.
As part of his treatment approach, Ken offers Lymphatic Drainage Massage, a gentle technique that supports lymph flow to help reduce swelling, remove toxins, and support immune function. Ken Karasawa is now offering this service at Myo Park Royal. If you are curious how this service can help you move and feel better, you can book in with Ken to learn more.
