Carissa Siu

Physiotherapist

Carissa is a Physiotherapist who received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto, and received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University. She was inspired to pursue physiotherapy by her fascination with the human body’s ability to overcome obstacles.

Carissa’s goal is to help people recognize their body’s adaptability, and empower everyone to feel in control of their own health. She hopes to inspire everyone to live a healthier life, and give the confidence to adapt and overcome obstacles – as well as thrive in their everyday environments, both physically and mentally.

While working together to build an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan, she utilizes treatment techniques such as manual therapy, movement, and education to help people achieve their goals in a warm and welcoming environment. In her free time, Carissa likes to play ultimate frisbee and spikeball, go kayaking, and uncover beautiful hiking spots.

Carissa is fluent in both English and Cantonese.
