Joshua Li
Joshua Li is a Physiotherapist at Kensington in Calgary.
With a passion for helping people move better, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. With a background in competitive athletics and a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Josh takes a personalized approach to care, combining movement assessment, hands-on treatment, exercise, and education to help clients reach their goals.
Before pursuing physiotherapy, Josh spent 5 years competing on the University of Alberta's varsity track and field team and completed a Master of Science in Kinesiology, where his research focused on physical literacy and movement development in children. He went on to earn his Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. Having navigated his own injuries, from skiing and skateboarding fractures to persistent Achilles tendon issues, he understands both the physical and mental challenges of recovery.
Josh especially enjoys working with runners, athletes, and active individuals who want to overcome injuries, improve performance, or return to training with confidence. He is dedicated to helping clients better understand their bodies, take an active role in their recovery, and build the strength and resilience to stay active for the long term.
Outside the clinic, Josh enjoys marathon training, strength training, skiing, and badminton. Having made the shift from sprinting to long-distance running, he knows the dedication that long-term goals require, and he brings that same commitment and curiosity to helping his clients move and feel their best.

It’s time for a 1:1 with a body expert.
