Your health is our number one priority as we reopen our clinics to the community, so we’ve redesigned our clinics to keep you and our team safe.
The Myodetox Clinic Health and Safety Standard
We’ve implemented several changes in how we operate. ‘Think Inside The Box’ is a series of visual markers within the clinic on where to stand, sit, and sanitize. Over time, we’ll be attentively listening to our clients and teams to fine-tune and improve our clinics continually.
We’re staggering session times to minimize overcrowding and we’re implementing a strict maximum capacity rule to ensure that we limit the number of individuals in the clinic at once.
Before Your Visit
It’s essential we know about the status of your health, so you’ll receive an online form to be completed the day before your session. This form is mandatory to help us determine if you're eligible to book a session.
To ensure no possible COVID-19 risk, at the beginning of every shift, our team will complete a full health screening, which includes a temperature check.
Checking-In Our Clinic
Time of Arrival
Please arrive for your session right on time, and not early, to keep any contact or crowding in our lounges to a minimum. Consider waiting outside or in your car if you’re comfortable and weather permits.
Upon Arrival at the Clinic
Our Guest Experience team will ask you a few quick questions to verbally confirm the status of your health and any potential COVID-19 contact.
We've installed plexiglass shields on our front desks to protect you and our Guest Experience team.
Team members and clients are required to wear masks at all times. If you don’t have a mask, we’ll provide you with a complimentary one on your first visit.
Our "Think Inside The Box" markers have been installed as a guide of where to stand and sit. Please follow these closely to ensure a safe experience.
Restricted Use of Lockers
We're restricting the use of shared storage (lockers, cubbies, shelves), so we highly suggest you bring only the necessities.
Restriction of Amenities
During this time, we're suspending all Treatment Wear, beverage services, women's personal hygiene products and hair ties. Please bring a pair of shorts to wear during your session.
Restricted Use of Washrooms
In an effort to minimize exposure and contact, we're limiting the use of our washrooms. Please arrive at the clinic knowing that you may not be able access our washrooms during your visit.
After your Session
Time to Sanitize
All sessions will end five minutes early to provide ample time for the cleaning of tables and equipment.
At this time, we aren’t accepting cash or debit card payments. We ask that you keep an active credit card on file at all times so our Guest Experience team can settle any payments in a contactless way.
Our Cleaning & Sanitization Procedures
We’re dedicating extra time to clean the treatment tables thoroughly so that sanitizing solutions have time to take effect ensuring a clean surface.
Frequent hand-washing will occur with anti-bacterial hand soap.
We’re completing a thorough sanitization of the full clinic every hour, monitored and checked by our Guest Experience team.
There is a designated area in our movement space to place any used equipment. This equipment will not be used again until it has been thoroughly sanitized.
We’re treating without pillows placed on the beds. If you and your therapist require a pillow for your treatment, one will be made available.
Our team member have designated clothing worn strictly for treatment and time-in-clinic only.

A safe and healthy environment requires all of our cooperation.
Practice Social Distancing
When in close, shared spaces like the lounge or treatment areas, please follow the markers placed around the studio to maintain a safe distance.
What if I’m not feeling well?
If you have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the clinic and contact your medical practitioner.
As we receive recommendations from local and government officials, we’ll evaluate the safety of reopening clinics in each region. Stay informed through our social channels and website as details progress.
Our 24-hour cancellation policy is still in effect to ensure we provide fellow clients with an opportunity to book a session. If you’re unable to attend due to illness or aren’t comfortable, you always have the option to book a Virtual Session.
We're booking on a first-come, first-served basis once our schedules open, and won't be adding priority names to waitlists at this time. We want to ensure we are as available as equally and fairly as possible to our entire community; we truly have missed every one of you.
As recommended by Osler - aggregate practice suggestion of all provinces. If a client or one of our team members have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, the person will be advised to self-isolate for a 14-day period.
If the person reports any flu-like symptoms, including a fever, cough, and/or shortness of breath, or other symptoms that may be indicative of COVID-19, the person will be sent home and advised to consult a medical practitioner.
If the person has tested positive for COVID-19, the employee’s return to work will depend on the advice of the physician or other qualified medical practitioner (after a minimum 14 day quarantine at-home period).
If the person has tested positive and has attended the workplace or been in contact with others within the 14 days prior to the confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, the person should notify the clinic and all scheduled/seen clients who may have been in contact with the individual that one of their co-workers has tested positive. The team members/clients should further be notified that they should self-isolate for 14 days and seek medical advice if they display any symptoms of COVID-19. Consult local health authorities for further information as to best steps.
We're maintaining our regular clinic hours. However, we are reducing the number of people within the clinic throughout the day. We'll limit the number of clients allowed in our clinic at a time based on our square footage. Only one person maximum per 200 sq/ft will enter our space.
Once our clinics are operable, we'll still host Virtual Sessions, but they'll be at the same price as the duration of the same session in-clinic. We are proud to have been able to offer over 2,000 virtual sessions to the community while we were closed, but will transition over to standard pricing now that we are back in operation. If clinics in your region are still closed, we are happy to provide these services complimentary until the local clinic is operable.
