Dr. Sharleen Mariano

Physical Therapist

Dr. Sharleen Mariano is a physical therapist with a wide range of experience working in orthopedics, sports medicine, neurological, and geriatric settings. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Monterey Bay. While in Monterey Bay, she helped start, develop, compete, and coach their Collegiate Women’s Rugby Team. Shortly after pursuing a career in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within higher education, she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from West Coast University. This is where she co-founded a student support group for graduate students in the medical field. Through her leadership and diverse clinical experiences, she discovered the value of building an inclusive space of support, belonging, and accountability where everyone can feel seen and heard.

Regardless of what you are navigating in your rehab and wellness journey, Sharleen’s passion for facilitating healing through intentional and meaningful movement will help you get back to doing what you love. She will help equip and empower you with the tools to understand your body, your injury, and your rehab journey to become resilient and grow into the best version of yourself.

In her free time, you’ll find Sharleen golfing, bowling, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, working out, connecting with family and friends, and hanging out with her dog Boonso.
