Dr. Carmichael graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2020 where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic and the Student Council Dedication Award. She has pursued further experience working with adults with developmental delays and dual diagnoses, and has completed additional certifications in Functional Integrated Acupuncture, Chronic Pain Diagnosis and Management, and SMART Tools Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization technique.
As a Chiropractor, Dr. Carmichael practices with a diversified multimodal approach that incorporates movement to enhance musculoskeletal health. She is passionate about creating individualized treatment plans that not only address and manage current symptoms, but also intensely focus on preventative care and performance. She recently completed a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion series to deepen her understanding of the importance of allyship in healthcare.
Dr. Carmichael is well-versed in treating a diverse variety of musculoskeletal conditions. She has a special interest in athletes, TMJ dysfunction, headaches, neck and back pain, and orthopaedic injuries.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Carmichael loves to travel, play sports, indulge in different types of cuisine, and do jigsaw puzzles. She’s also a huge Toronto sports fan which has been bittersweet over the years, to say the least! She’s really looking forward to meeting you!
